Total orders POS-GRIP wellheads for ultra-HP/HT exploration well

Plexus Holdings has secured a £3.3-million ($5.12-million) contract with Total E&P Norge AS to supply POS-GRIP wellhead systems.

ABERDEEN, UK –Plexus Holdings has secured a £3.3-million ($5.12-million) contract with Total E&P Norge AS to supply POS-GRIP wellhead systems, associated equipment and mudline services for Total’s ultra-high-pressure/high-temperature Solaris gas exploration well in the Graben area of the North Sea, offshore Norway.
Under the terms of the contract, Plexus will supply its 18¾-in. XHP/HT POS-GRIP jackup drilling system.
