HOUSTON --Northern Offshore Ltd. has issued a notice of drilling contract termination to Oceanic Consultants Nigeria Ltd. for the Energy Searcher.
Northern Offshore saidCAMAC Energy Oceanic had guaranteed the contract for its Nigerian affiliate and that Oceanic breached various terms of the drilling contract.
Northern Offshore hopes to have the rig demobilized out of Nigeria by late January.
