Shell UK and partner Deltic Energy have approved a work program and budget for the planned Pensacola appraisal well in license P2252 in the UK southern North Sea.
LONDON — Shell UK and partner Deltic Energy have approved a work program and budget for the planned Pensacola appraisal well in license P2252 in the UK southern North Sea.
Drilling should start in late 2024.
The companies are also partners in P2437 where geotechnical site investigation works have finished on the preferred surface location of the Selene exploration well.
Results will be incorporated into the drilling plan with a targeted spud during third-quarter 2024.
