DYCE, UK – bp has contracted TWMA to provide drilling waste management services for the WND & END exploration/development project in the Mediterranean Sea offshore Egypt.
TWMA will deploy its RotoMill drill cuttings processing technology to process all drilling waste, with the five-year program starting in October.
RotoMill employs a thermal desorption process to separate drill cuttings and associated materials into oil, water and solids for recycling and reuse. The equipment is designed to establish the optimum temperatures to ensure that the recovered base oil retains its full original quality, allowing it to be reused in the drilling mud system.
