LYNGBY, Denmark  Workflow digitalization provider Horizon56 has entered into a long-term agreement to increase digitalization of Equinor’s operations.

The company will deploy its RigBridge services as a `Digital Operation Procedures (DOP) Authoring Tool’ for Equinor’s planning and operational centers to handle drilling operations workflows.

The functionality will also be integrated into Equinor’s digital well planning application, WellCom.

RigBridge is cloud-based well planning software that is said to allow users to create, review, approve and publish standardized and structured DOPs. It is also designed to enable handling of all associated workflows across different companies.

The RigBridge Digital DOPs is accessible at a rig site via a rig management system, such as Horizon56 RigFlow, allowing teams to perform tasks and track their progress in real-time.

Through digitalizing the work processes and DOP information, Horizon56 claims, teams can speed up and improve capture of lessons learned, and receive instant updates to well plans.

The company has been collaborating with Equinor over the past year to develop the required functionality, workflows and architecture, and to validate the functionality and usability through deployments on several rigs.
