OSLO, Norway – Equinor has permission from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate to drill two exploration wells in the Fram area of the North Sea.
Odfjell’s semisubmersible Deepsea Atlantic will drill wells 35/11-25 S and 35/11-25 A in production license 090 after completing maintenance work for Equinor at the Gullfaks field center.
Both wells will be drilled 10 km (6.2 mi) west of the Fram field.
