OSLO, Norway – Capricorn Norge has authorization for a new exploration well in the Norwegian North Sea, 8 km (5 mi) west of the Vega field.
According to the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, the semisubmersible Island Innovator will drill well 35/8-7S, the first on production license 880.
Edison Norge AS is the other license partner.
