Jean Paul Prates resigns as Petrobras CEO, CFO removed

Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, Clarice Coppetti, has been appointed interim president of the company, until the election of a new CEO.

Rio de Janeiro — Petrobras has approved the early termination of Jean Paul Prates' mandate as CEO through negotiation, effective immediately. He also submitted his resignation as a member of the board of directors.

Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, Clarice Coppetti, has been appointed interim president of the company, until the election of a new CEO.

Subject to internal corporate governance procedures, Magda Maria de Regina Chambriard will hold the positions of CEO of the company and member of the board of directors.

Moreover, the board of directors has removed Sergio Caetano Leite from the position of CFO and investor relations officer. Finance Executive Manager Carlos Alberto Rechelo Neto has been named as the interim until the election of a new CFO.
