Ecopetrol makes changes to its senior management team

Ecopetrol has made several VP-level appointments.

BOGOTÁ, D.C. — Ecopetrol S.A. has appointed Felipe Trujillo López vice president (VP) of commercial and marketing and Victoria Irene Sepúlveda Ballesteros corporate VP of human talent.

In addition, María Cristina Toro Restrepo has been named legal vice president, effective May 7.

Moreover, Alberto Enrique Consuegra Granger, who had been serving as executive VP of operations, will serve until May 10. The company said Rafael Guzmán, current president of Hocol, will be in charge of this vice presidency as of May 11, and until the appointment of the position is made.

Lastly, the board of directors made the following appointments in the legal representation:

David Alfredo Riaño Alarcón, VP of low emission solutions as alternate legal and commercial representative in the first line;
María Catalina Escobar Hoyos, corporate VP of finance and sustainable value as alternate legal and commercial representative in the second line; and
Nicolás Azcuénaga Ramírez, corporate VP of strategy and new business as alternate legal and commercial representative in the third line.
