MILAN, Italy -- The Eni board of directors has appointed Claudio Descalzi as COO of the E&P division, replacing Stefano Cao.
Descalzi joined Eni in 1981, and has held numerous positions in Italy and internationally. In 2006 he was appointed deputy COO of the E&P division.
