IWCF names first-ever chief technical officer

The International Well Control Forum has appointed David Conroy as its first chief technical officer.

MONTROSE, UK – The International Well Control Forum (IWCF) has appointed David Conroy as its first chief technical officer.

IWCF’s services include exam quality, program development, curriculum, and training.

Conroy has 20 years of experience in the international oil and gas industry and will join IWCF in July from Schlumberger where he has held a variety of positions for over 10 years. He most recently served as drilling and drilling engineering director of curriculum in Dubai.

Conroy holds a PhD in Geology from The Queen’s University of Belfast, Ireland.
