NZTC stated, "Rebecca is passionate about delivering innovation to support emissions reduction in a maturing North Sea basin. This includes identifying and appraising existing technology readiness and accessibility to the marketplace, while championing the latest advancements in field development, operations, late life and decommissioning in the transition to a net-zero future."
She has more than 20 years’ experience in the energy sector. She was NZTC's head of emissions reduction from November 2020 to April 2023. Prior to this role, she was the company's asset integrity solution center manager for four years. She's also held management roles with Aker Solutions and Lloyd's Register.
Last week, the company announced that after nearly seven years at the helm of the NZTC, Colette Cohen OBE is standing down as CEO, with Myrtle Dawes was announced as the NZTC's new CEO.
