    Weatherford appoints president, CEO

    Weatherford International plc has appointed Girish K. Saligram as president and CEO, effective Oct. 12, 2020.

    HOUSTON – Weatherford International plc has appointed Girish K. Saligram as president and CEO, effective Oct. 12, 2020.

    He will also serve as a member of the company’s board of directors.

    Upon Saligram’s appointment, Karl Blanchard, interim CEO, will resume his role as executive vice president and COO.
