Lamprell’s Hamriyah yard in the UAE is working on five EPCI programs for offshore oil and gas developments in the Middle East region.

For the first project, comprising two production decks and two jackets, the initial jacket has been completed and transported to Saudi Arabia and is set to be installed this year. The second jacket and production decks are progressing, and they should be installed in 2025.

Under the second EPCI project, which includes a single jacket, fabrication should finish shortly, followed by installation by year-end 2024.

Fabrication has concluded on all four jackets for the third project, and installation activities should start later this year. Also in the workscope is a production deck, due to be completed next year.

Two of the five jackets ordered for the fourth project sailed from the yard last month. Each of the jackets weigh up to 2,700 metric tons. Work continues on the other three.

As for the fifth project, comprising two production decks and one jacket, engineering and procurement is progressing. Fabrication development has begun, with first steel cut in August.
