Baker Hughes’ Oilfield Services & Equipment has secured multiple contracts from Petrobras for integrated and mature assets solutions, Baker Hughes said in its latest results update.
They included a multi-year award for workover and plug and abandonment services in presalt and post-salt fields offshore Brazil, along with remedial tools, completion fluids and production chemicals.
Petrobras also ordered a seabed centrifugal pumping system for the Jubarte Field in the Campos Basin. This will support incremental development of the field, increasing oil production while reducing operating costs.
Elsewhere, Baker Hughes signed a joint cooperation agreement with SOCAR in Azerbaijan to deploy more than 150 electrical submersible pumps and the automated field production service, Leucipa, in various oil fields to support optimization.
The company’s GTE won contracts to provide topsides power generation systems for two all-electric FPSOs that will be installed at unnamed locations offshore Latin America.
