TotalEnergies has contracted Vallourec to provide nearly 5,000 metric tons of oil country tubular goods (OCTG) and services for the deepwater Kaminho project wells in Block 20, which is 100 km offshore Angola.

Vallourec will supply VAM connections, CLEANWELL coating, and tubular management services, which involves inspection and preparation of tubes prior to their departure for the drilling platform, and also on their return to the storage area.

The company will make the products at its factories in France, Brazil and Indonesia.

Elsewhere in West Africa, Vallourec has been supporting TotalEnergies’ exploration and appraisal campaigns offshore Namibia (close to 5,000 mt of tubes and connections).
