ExxonMobil Canada Properties has awarded a topsides front-end engineering and design contract for the topsides on the Hebron project to WorleyParsons Ltd.

NORTH SYDNEY, New South Wales –ExxonMobil Canada Properties has awarded a topsides front-end engineering and design contract for the topsides on the Hebron project to WorleyParsons Ltd. The $61-million contract has an option for ExxonMobil to extend the contract to include detailed engineering, procurement, and construction services. If extended, the contract total will reach $285 million.
FEED work is scheduled for completion next year. The EPC extension would stretch the contract to five years.
Hebron field is in the Atlantic Ocean some 350 km (217 mi) offshore St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
