LYNGBY, Denmark – Horizon56 has signed a deal with Archer to digitalize a further nine of the company’s platform rigs.
This will increase Archer’s implementations of Horizon56’s RigFlow service from three platform rigs since 2022 to 12.
Planning teams on all the rigs will use the same RigBridge planning solution to create detailed operation procedures (DOPs), while ach rig will have its own implementation of RigFlow.
This set-up will apply for executing the digital instructions, tracking progress and distributing relevant information in real-time to the rig team and others.
Under the three-year agreement, Horizon56 will deploy its RigFlow rig management system to digitalize the DOPs on the rigs. Other goals include accelerating and improving the capture of lessons learned, and ensuring receipt of instant updates to well plans.
