Enersense to construct steel modules for North Sea Hugin platform

Enersense will provide pre-assembled steel structures to Aker Solutions for the Hugin A production platform in the Norwegian North Sea, part of the Aker BP-operated Yggdrasil oil and gas development.

PORI, Finland — Enersense will provide pre-assembled steel structures to Aker Solutions for the Hugin A production platform in the Norwegian North Sea, part of the Aker BP-operated Yggdrasil oil and gas development.

Engineering and planning will get underway later this summer, with fabrication of the modules starting toward the end of the year at Enersense’s facilities in Mäntyluoto, Finland.

The final modules should be delivered in December 2024.
