Sembcorp Marine delivers two wellhead platforms to Al-Shaheen Field

Sembcorp Marine has completed work for the Gallaf Batch 2 Project offshore Qatar for North Oil Co.

North Oil Co. says the Al-Shaheen oil field, situated off the northeast coast of Qatar, is one of the largest and most complex of its kind in the world. Its 100 MMbbl per annum comprise 45% of Qatar’s oil production.
The workscope covered engineering design, procurement and construction, transportation, installation and offshore integration for two new wellhead platforms at the offshore Al-Shaheen oil field.
Last month Sembcorp cut first steel for Maersk Supply Service’s new wind turbine installation vessel.
