ABERDEEN, UK— bp has awarded Wood a five-year, multi-region engineering services contract valued at about $350 million.
Wood will provide repairs, modifications and enhancements to bp’s offshore production facilities.
This is a renewal of the company’s existing contracts in the regions to support bp’s operations.
Craig Shanaghey, Wood's executive president of Operations, said, ““For the first time, this multi-region approach allows us to combine these contracts into one single delivery model that puts…execution, innovation and simplification at its heart."
Wood’s Operations business unit will lead the program with a centralized contract management team and local delivery teams, supported by the group’s global execution center.
