Petronas has signed a memorandum of understanding with China National Petroleum Corp. at the CNPC International Cooperation Forum.
The aims of the partnership are to collaborate in upstream exploration and production of oil and gas internationally, and throughout the LNG value chain. Other areas of focus will include renewable energy, green hydrogen technology, and carbon capture utilization and storage.
The companies will also look to develop an open communication platform to facilitate exchange of knowledge, insights and best practices to drive sustainable energy development in the Far East region.
