OSLO, NorwayDNO Exploration UK has completed the acquisition from ONE-Dyas E&P of a 25% stake in the Arran Field in the UK central North Sea.

Arran, operated by Shell UK, produces via subsea tieback to Shell’s Shearwater A platform.

DNO has paid an estimated $60 million for the farm-in. Last October, the company was awarded a 50% operated interest in blocks 9/9f, 9/10c, 9/14c and 9/15d under the UK’s 33rd Offshore Licensing Round.

All are adjacent to the median line with Norway.
