HERTFORD, UK – PJ Valves (PJV) has won contracts worth $3.5 million in total to supply valves for FPSOs.
One involves manufacture and delivery of 2,000 ball valves, manually and pneumatically actuated and in accordance with the operator’s offshore duplex requirements, to an unnamed project off Malaysia.
They will be installed on the FPSO’s topsides modules for use in applications including gas processing and treatment.
In the UK North Sea, the company will provide more than 150 forged steel gate, globe and check valves, in addition to ball valves, from its facilities in Italy, for another unnamed FPSO project.
The products include specifications of up to 1,500-lb pressure class with Grayloc hub ends, and the valves will be manufactured in duplex and super duplex materials.
PJV will also manage the DNV inspection process.
