LONDON – British entrepreneur Lloyd Dorfman has agreed to take a 20% stake in Silverwell Technology, manufacturer of the digital intelligent artificial lift (DIAL) gas-lift optimization systems.
He will provide fresh capital to help the company expands its product range and manufacturing capacity in response to growing customer interest in offshore and onshore installations.
Silverwell has delivered its first DIAL systems to companies in the Middle East and Far East.
These incorporate the patented Binary Actuation Technology (BAT) which provides electronically-actuated, real-time monitored and controlled gas-lift.
Silverwell plans to expand the range of BAT-enabled products to address other completion and production issues.
