Service provider Petrofac Facilities Management has secured a contract to provide operations and maintenance services to Total E&P UK's Alwyn and Dunbar facilities.
The contract, worth £40 million, is for a five-year period and is a Global Site Operations Contract (GSOC) in support of the Alwyn and Dunbar field operations, involving 120 personnel.
The Alwyn field, 440 km northeast of Aberdeen, has two platforms – Alwyn North A is the drilling and accommodation platform and Alwyn North B is the processing and treatment platform. The Dunbar platform is 22 km south of the Alwyn North platform.
