OEG, Harran form helifuel/container partnership

OEG Offshore has entered into a collaboration with offshore aviation refuelling services specialist Harran.

ABERDEEN, UKOEG Offshore, a supplier of global provider of cargo carrying units and A60 modules to the oil and gas industry, has entered into a collaboration with offshore aviation refuelling services specialist Harran.

The two companies will offer a combined rental, product, and service.

Harran, formed in 1995, employs 35 staff and claims to have a 75% market share of all helifuel needs on the UK continental shelf.

It also offers complementary services to support offshore helicopter refuelling activities including engineering, fabrication, maintenance, certification, refurbishment, and support of offshore refuelling systems, all in compliance with CAP 437.

In addition, it owns and operates a rental fleet of 700 specialized offshore tanks, all manufactured in compliance with IMDG codes and the DNV 2.7-1/EN12079/IMO 860 standards.

These tanks are used to transport Jet A-1 aviation fuel, chemicals, waste oil and potable water to and from offshore platforms, drilling rigs, FPSOs, and accommodation vessels.

OEG supplies DNV 2.7-1 containers, baskets, skips, workshops and offshore tanks, and standard and customized A60 engineering cabins globally, and has local centers in 35 countries.
