LONDON -- Petrofac has acquired Scotvalve Services, a UK-based services company, from Scotvalve’s management for $5 million.
Founded in 1985, Scotvalve provides oilfield pressure control equipment servicing and repair from its Aberdeen-based mechanical workshop. The company also serves the oil and gas sectors in the Middle East and North Africa.
Petrofac says the acquisition will enhance its mechanical services offering, providing repair and maintenance services within a wider geographic footprint. Scotvale will form part of Petrofac’s offshore engineering and operations business.
