DUBLIN-- ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Ireland (Offshore) Ltd.vis offering an equity interest in the Dunquin blocks in the Porcupine basin off southern Ireland.
According to facilitators Indigo Pool, two main gas-condensate prospects have been identified on the acreage, Dunquin North and Dunquin South. ExxonMobil estimates Dunquin North’s un-risked mean recoverable volumes at 4 tcf of natural gas and 156 MMbbl of condensate, and Dunquin South at 4.4 tcf and 160 MMbbl. The corresponding estimated P10 volumes are 8.6 tcf and 322 MMbbl condensate (Dunquin North) and 9.5 tcf and 340 MMbbl (Dunquin South).
The Dunquin owners are committed to drilling an exploration well on Dunquin North, with well planning under way. They expect to conduct a site survey this summer.
