SMD has acquired Hallin Robotics from Hallin Marine Subsea International.

DURHAM CITY, UK -- SMD has acquired Hallin Robotics from Hallin Marine Subsea International. The company will be renamed SMD Robotics Ltd.
Hallin Robotics develops and engineers remote solutions for the nuclear decommissioning market, together with bespoke applications for the offshore and subsea markets, in particular offshore decommissioning.
Hallin Robotics has facilities in Malton, North Yorkshire and Seascale, Cumbria, which will continue to operate under the SMD Robotics banner.
