SYDNEY, Australia -- Origin Energy Ltd. has completed its acquisition of an added 36% of the Otway Gas Project from Woodside Energy Ltd. This brings Origin's interest to 67%. Operations hand-over is scheduled for June 2010.
“This complements our existing operations in the Bass basin province to the east where we have recently had success with appraisal of the liquids-rich Trefoil field and discovery of gas and oil in the Rockhopper field,” says Grant King, Origin MD.
