HOUSTON – Baker Hughes Inc. and BJ Services have reached an understanding with the US Department of Justice that should allow the previously announced merger to go forward.
Following that, shareholders of the two companies reconvened to approve the merger. The closing is targeted for April, pending completion of some additional terms and conditions.
