(Bloomfield, NJ)- Prosafe Production Services Pte. Ltd. has awarded ABB Lummus Global a contract to provide conceptual and detailed engineering services for thePolvo FPSO.
The engineering services for the Devon-operated FPSO will be performed out of ABB Lummus' engineering center in Singapore. The design work is expected to take eight months to complete. The dollar amount of the award was not provided.
This latest award extends ABB's working relationship with Prosafe to over 18 months. ABB Lummus looks at this award as a signal of the oil and gas industry's continued confidence in the company's engineering capabilities in FPSO projects.
