Bypass line overcomes production interruptions on Dragon Oil's LAM field in the Caspian Sea

(Ashgabad) Operations have resumed in Dragon Oil's LAM field in the Cheleken Contract Area, offshore Turkmenistan. Early in March, the field's feeder pipeline became blocked, forcing installation of an alternate 8-in., 2.5-km flowline to bypass the blocked section. Now production has been restored on all five wells affected on the LAM 22 platform.
The new line connects LAM 22 to the LAM 10 installation. Dragon is continuing its general upgrading program across the field, which includes extensive development drilling to raise production.
