TRELLEBORG, Sweden – Trelleborg Engineered Systems has agreed to acquire offshore Brazil subsidiary of Veyance Technologies Inc. . Veyance produces hoses for surface and deepwater applications in Brazil.
The plant is in Santana de Parnaiba, Brazil, close to São Paulo. Trelleborg will take over the lease on the 15,000 sq m (151,460 sq ft) facility, acquire the existing equipment, and assume responsibility for the some 100 employees.
Finalization of the acquisition is expected in 1Q 2011.
