The Cytec Control Station with the Petroleum Navigator 3D software package will link one common operational environment together (drilling operation, intervention, seismic, and geology), enabling optimal operational environment to improve working processes onshore and offshore.
The Cytec control station integrates drilling machinery, tools from service companies, and mud/cement process equipment into one solution. It is designed to fit into both retrofits and new builds onshore and offshore, the company says.
The station includes lesser electrical components and cabling with industrial mounting for rugged environments.
Control modules (PLC and logistic modules and main computer systems) are installed away from the operator station giving easy access to the maintenance crew, the company says.
The control station includes a flexible system design, which splits the HMI screens and operational console away from the operator chair to optimize the ergonomic situation. This enables a more dynamic working environment (seated or standing), reduces the cabin size, and optimizes the line of site to fulfill international standards, the company says.
