MANAMA, Bahrain— Bahrain has inaugurated Bapco Energies, the new name for the national oil and gas holding company.
Existing operating companies such as Bahrain Petroleum Co. (Bapco), Bahrain National Gas Co. (Banagas), Bahrain National Gas Expansion Co. (Tawseah), Bahrain Aviation Fueling Co. (BAFCO), Tatweer Petroleum and Bapco Retail Co. (Tazweed) will be integrated and rebranded into seven businesses over the next three years.
These will include three new ventures focused on trading and investing in new technologies and renewable energies.
