Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK — Elemental Energies has acquired well management specialist Norwell Engineering.
Fifteen Norwell staff members will join Elemental Energies along with a team of long-term contractors, raising Elemental’s workforce to 105.
Since 1989, Norwell has project managed more than 500 wells globally, also supplying well control specialists to provide advice during the bp Macondo trial. More recently, the company project managed delivery of ONGC’s $6 billion KG-DWN-98/2 deepwater field development in the Indian Ocean.
In 1996 it undertook its first well decommissioning program and currently serves as project manager for wells and facilities decommissioning on the UAQ field decom campaign offshore UAE.
Elemental is an energy consultancy working at present on the INEOS-led Greensand carbon capture and storage project in the Danish North Sea, various decommissioning campaigns in the UK and Middle East, and multiple deepwater field developments.
Last December it acquired Vysus Group subsidiary Vysus Senergy Wells.
