Peterson, Coast form offshore wind support JV

Peterson and Coast Renewable Services have formed a joint venture offering integrated services to the offshore wind sector.

ABERDEEN, U.K.  Peterson and Coast Renewable Services have formed a joint venture offering integrated services to the offshore wind sector.

The new company, named Coast Offshore, will combine Peterson’s energy logistics with Coast’s experience in providing turnkey solutions to the onshore wind sector.

Coast Offshore will offer marine management, warehousing, stevedoring and customs formalities, and technical solutions to support offshore wind farms throughout their life cycle.

It will seek to support the construction and installation of floating wind projects, using its U.K. bases in Shetland, Aberdeen, Edzell, Montrose, Dundee, Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Heysham.
