Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK – Altrad Group has entered an agreement to acquire offshore engineering and maintenance provider Sparrows Group.
The transaction, which should complete by this summer, will include Sparrows’ wind energy business. Alpha aims to strengthen its position in the offshore, renewables and industrial sectors and its operations in the Americas, where Sparrows has various bases.
Sparrows existing management will run the company as a separate entity within Altrad, drawing on Altrad’s experience in the industrial services sector to accelerate diversification.
