GRAY, Louisiana – An unnamed operator has awarded Danos a contract for construction operations on two shelf assets about 80 mi (129 km) offshore Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico.
Work for the contract, which began in May, is expected to last through the end of 2021.
The project features 26 Danos personnel, working on a 14-day on, 14-day off rotation schedule. The crews are providing general maintenance and repairs.
CEO Paul Danos said: “We are encouraged by the recent uptick in industry activity and excited about the future of offshore energy.”
