Delmar expands mooring capability with Vryhof acquisition

HOUSTONDelmar Systems is acquiring the Vryhof group, comprising Deep Sea Mooring and Vryhof Anchors.

However, the newly combined company, operating globally, will continue as Delmar Systems and as Vryhof.

Nick Patterson, Delmar’s CEO, said: “With over a century of combined company experience, Delmar and Vryhof will offer unrivalled personnel, equipment, engineering, mooring solutions and comprehensive project management to the global offshore energy industry.”

Vryhof, formed in the early 1970s, designs and supplies drag embedment anchors, mooring installation solutions such as the STEVTENSIONER, and related mooring equipment for larger floating structures including MODUs, FSRUs, FPSOs, FSOs, and wind turbines.

Deep Sea Mooring provides mooring rental equipment and services in the North Sea, with operations also in Australia and other international sectors.
