US helicopter groups complete merger

Aviation service provider Bristow Group has merged with Era Helicopters.

HOUSTON – Aviation service provider Bristow Group has merged with Era Helicopters.

The newly combined company, to be headquartered in Houston, will retain the Bristow Group name and will remain publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

It will provide offshore helicopter services throughout the Americas, Nigeria, Norway, the UK and Australia, with plans for investments in new technology and safety features to meet future needs of new and existing oil and gas companies.
