    MacGregor mooring system selected for South China Sea platform

    CNOOC has contracted Cargotec subsidiary MacGregor to supply the on-vessel mooring system for a deepwater semisubmersible production platform.

    HELSINKI, Finland – CNOOC has contracted Cargotec subsidiary MacGregor to supply the on-vessel mooring system for a deepwater semisubmersible production platform.

    Delivery is scheduled for 1Q 2020.

    The platform will operate on a gas field in the western part of the South China Sea.
