SINGAPORE – Keppel Shipyard will soon deliver a converted FPSO to Perenco affiliate Dixstone Holdings for deployment on the Yombo field offshore Republic of Congo.
The FPSO was namedLa Noumbi during a ceremony at the yard witnessed by Jean-Marc Thysthere Tchicaya, Minister of Hydrocarbons for the Republic.
Keppel Shipyard is responsible for the conversion from a crude oil tanker, works including installation and integration of topsides process skids, fabrication of a new accommodation module, and life extension works.
TheLa Noumbi will have capacity to produce 12,000 b/d of oil, process 120,000 b/d of water, and store 762,062 bbl of oil.
