WOODBRIDGE, UK — Amarinth has delivered two API 610 OH2 pumps to Yinson Production for the FPSO Atlanta, commissioned by Enauta for the Atlanta oil field offshore Brazil.
Yinson is adapting the floater, designed to operate in water depths of 1,500 m, from the FPSO OSX-2 under an EPCI contract.
The program at Dubai Drydocks World involves structural upgrades, equipment refurbishment and enhancements, with offshore operations due to start next year, with production then ramping up to 50,000 bbl/d.
Amarinth designed and fabricated the two crude oil transfer duplex pumps, which are equipped with Plan 53B seal support systems.
The pumps have 570-mm diameter impellers incorporating variable frequency drives for optimized energy uses. All the electrical components are IECEx certified for ATEX Zone 1 operation.
ABS performed inspection and certification.
