Diavaz has extended DeepOcean’s contract for the Arbol Grande construction/subsea vessel.

The Mexican-flagged vessel, which has been working for Diavaz the past two decades, will perform inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) services offshore Mexico over the next five years.

Arbol Grande, delivered in 2003, has served as an accommodation and topside maintenance support vessel for various IMR contracts involving saturation and air diving, as light construction support operations.

It can accommodate 199 personnel, and it has a 60-metric-ton constant tension crane and a 60-mt telescopic crane.

DeepOcean will manage operations from its office in Ciudad del Carmen.
