SKUDENESHAVN, Norway — Prysmian has contracted Solstad Maritime’sNormand Ocean construction support vessel (CSV) to support global power cable systems installations.
The contract will start by mid-2027 and run until 2032, potentially through 2034 if Prysmian exercises an option. The Normand Pacific CSV is also contracted to Prysmian until the end of 2030.
Normand Ocean, built in 2014, is a DP2 subsea construction vessel with a 150-t active heavy compensated subsea crane.
