STAVANGER, Norway – Scana Offshore will upgrade anchoring equipment on Yinson Nepeta Productions’ FPSO Allan, which is due to operate on the Anyala and Madu fields in OMLs 83 and 85 offshore Nigeria.
The program will increase the anchoring system’s capacity and improve monitoring of anchoring forces.
The main work scope will involve delivery of hull engineering services and reinforcement of chain stoppers, supply of critical components, and a comprehensive monitoring system.
Yinson will designate a yard for the fabrication/integration work. Modifying existing equipment will cut costs and lessen delivery times, ensuring a shorter yard stay, Scana said.
