Boskalis crane vessels active on Taiwan, US offshore wind projects

PAPENDRECHT, the Netherlands — Boskalis has issued an update on recent offshore programs in its latest results statement.
At the beginning of the third quarter, the Bokalift 1 crane vessel installed the last of 62 jackets for the Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farm in Taiwan, where Boskalis also supported construction of the Yunlin wind farm.
In the US, Bokalift 2 installed all the monopole foundations and a substation for the Southfork offshore wind project, and preparations have started for the next offshore wind development, Revolution.
For the Moray West offshore wind farm in the UK North Sea, Boskalis is performing geophysical surveys, transporting the monopiles, preparing the seabed and installing the foundations.
Subsea Services has been deploying diving support vessels to decommission old subsea infrastructure in the North Sea, while in the Caribbean, Bokalift 1 was involved in salvaging part of a platform from the seabed following an incident.
